I'm a big fan of inappropriate engine swaps. I'd second the previously mentioned Yugo, or a Mazda b2200, or maybe an FD RX7...
Ive got a really crappy old packard with a junk engine i would give you if you promise to put the ferrari engine in it. Bonus points if you live in a state where titles arent required.
FD Rx-7 is the answer.
