Yeah, I might have gotten a little inside as well.
If you look close, you can see where it was pouring out of the HVAC system.
It took hours to clean that mess up.
Nice. I wish I had a pic of that every time someone would get into one of my Jeeps and say "huh? Why isn't there any carpet?"
One time someone asked why the CJ above didn't have a radio. I opened the glovebox to show them the water line. it was at the middle of the radio nob. I said "I've yet to find a radio that sounds good underwater".
Ugh, I hate XD Rockstars with a passion. They are the wheels of choice of brodozers everwhere. I don't mind big wheels on Jeeps as long as the tire is big enough (like at least 35s). I wish I could of found a CJ in my price range when I was looking at Jeeps. All I could find were either rusty disasters or $15k show Jeeps. I've got my 2012 JK muddy a few times but nothing like you guys. I'm too afraid of the inevitable cleanup.
It had less than 20 miles on the clock in this pic:
As it sat at the dealership before I brough her home. Look at all that dealer-added chrome!
As she sits now:
I actually went down a wheel size to 15s, which is the smallest you can fit on JKs. The tires are 33x12.5x15 Goodyear Duratracs. Sometimes I wish I would of mounted the OWL in instead of out.

See, I like that but at my shop I am considered a hater because I don't like all the Rockstar/Black Rhino/RBP 20" wheels. They look too cookie cutter/brodozer. All the fake bolts and crap all over them look stupid. When ever those trucks and Jeeps come in for rotations, I yell out "It's here for a bro-tate bro". Only reason I posted up that 20x12" wheeled Jeep was because I hadn't done one like that, it wasn't as cookie cutter.
I am all about function but everyone else I work with is all about vanity. For instance, an E30 track car came in today and of course had 15" track wheels with 205/50/15 tires on it and people make fun of it. I can go on and on about all the crap people I work with hate. I keep my list simple, stance cars and brodozers are stupid.

I feel your pain. Its tough working on a customers car that wants to hang out and talk about how proud of it the whole time. I get the whole different strokes/different folks thing but its hard not to brutally honest to some tasteless oafs.

We warn each other when a customer is coming around by singing or whistling "It always feels like, somebody's watching me".
