Works out to 2 and a half foot gauge rails. HOn3 is more accurate, but far more expensive than using N scale rails. HOn3, you're hand laying just about everything.
HO vs HOn30

No way would I ask you for a 6 hour round trip. If you happened to be in the area, sure, but dont to that. I'll ask if they are willing to ship instead. I appreciate it though.
So the 44 tonners came up as "sale pending" for $50 this morning. Did you get them Appleseed? (Crosses fingers)
$25 for 7 N-gauge cars, not sure if that's a good deal?
Is this a good deal on track? Shipping might be a bit expensive though.
In reply to Pete Gossett (Forum Supporter) :
Hard to tell from only two pictures. If the track is well cared for, I'd say yes...ish. Not a screaming deal, but not overpriced. If it sat in the basement for 30 years however, those switches might be sticky, and cause a lot of headaches .
Quite a bit of laid track and a base for $80. Some of the planning seems suspect (such as a switch at the base of an incline), but might interest somebody.

Holy crap! That's less than 7 miles from me. SWMBO already messaged the guy. Fingers crossed.
No price but it looks like a few decent HO pieces here that are probably cheap.
Here's the motherload of vintage, quality, HO trains/track/etc. for $200
Here’s another large bunch of HO stuff for $200.
So this isn't necessarily "cheap", but most of it looks like good stuff, and it's been for sale for more than a week. If I needed any of it, I might be tempted to make an offer and make him say "no".

Im in the opposite camp, my son want to put his Ho RR for sale on FB and I could use an idea of what it is worth. This is based around Thomas the train and uses Bachman parts. 4 x 8 layout, two tracks with separate power supplies. Wht do you think he should ask for it? I don't want to think about how much we have in it over the years and I know he will not get anywhere close to that back, but I could use a good starting point. I am in Central FL is anyone here is interested.
I have no clue what these sell for new, but when did Athern locomotives get so expensive? I remember when they were like $20 new...of course that was 40 years ago.
N-scale UP Alco & caboose for $60.
No price, but here’s a E36 M3-ton of Bachman EZ track.

Just and FYI, listed for $300 and sold for $250 in about a week. Everyone seemed happy with the deal.
Decent pile o' stuff. Not super "high end", but quite a bit there for $125.

Not a great description, but what looks to be a decent "starter set", with a table, for $150. Almost looks like it might be set up for DCC. Description and photos aren't great, but there's probably pretty close to $150 in the table alone.
This seems like a lot of HO gear for $125.
