It happens every year. The weather in the PNW goes from the 30's, grey and rain soaked to high 60's , mid 70's and beautiful. Convertible tops go down, house windows and doors open up, hiking trails and parks fill up. Despite the alliterative and foreshadowing name we all start to believe spring is here, only to have our collective hopes drowned by the impending cold precipitation we refuse to understand is coming.
It isn't just us humans. The daffodils and tulips send up shoots and insects start coming out only to freeze again soon.
Myself, I cleaned the carb and exterior of the Falcon and put it back in the road.
If you need me I will be down at the dog park with the pups enjoying this splendid weather while I can.
I love Falcons. Just a timeless simple design.
I thought the fake out was two weeks ago. If it keeps it up it may be the real thing.
Sweet ride, what's the story on this darlin'
It’s 15dgF in Chicago right now, snowing, and going down to 6dgF tomorrow morning when I go to work.
My son lives in SoCal and it’s 70dgF+ Right now and going down to 50dgF at night and it will be sunny every day this week. He said it’s hot outside today.
Some days I don’t want to live here.

It was my daily for a few years. 63 crew cab futura. 200 6 backed by a t5 and an 8.8 rear with 3.50 gears. Custom coilovers up front with some cutting and welding to make it work so low. Lots of other details.
17X7 charger steelies with ranger caps and beauty rings.

67 down here today. I was telling SWMBO an hour ago that I'm already forgetting some people still have winter this time of year.
Time to walk the dog! I don't know what happens if I don't take advantage of both hours of nice weather in February in the PNW, and I don't want to find out...
60° yesterday here in Idaho's armpit. It's been a really warm "winter" especially compared to last year's snowpocalypse. I'm not complaining .
Except I have to work and its usually rainy and windy on the weekend when I don't .
That's a fantastic photo, and that car is a beaut. We're supposed to be in the mid 70s tomorrow down here, and I saw daffodils blooming in the woods yesterday.
Are you still thinking about selling it?
LOVE me some early Falcons. This was my daily for a few years:
Nothing too fancy. Original I-6 with three on the tree, cut front springs (4" lower) with 3 " rear blocks. ( I removed the front bump stops and raised the top shock mount up 1" and it rode great!)
My FIL has a 60 Ranchero that he dropped a 302 into. It's getting fresh paint right now, so the next project is figuring out how to make it stop dumping fuel out when you put in more than half a tank. Then, we need to get some more brakes to compensate for that additional umph.

Had anyone asked last week I would have said " let me get you the keys"
Now I am kinda in the "I missed it" mode but more importantly I am now in the "man, there is a lot of stuff to fix" portion.
I remember the diff pinion bearings being a bit loose last time I checked but now they roar!
I should have flown out there and driven it home when you had it listed last time.
If you get tempted again, drop me a line. It would be such a bad ass trip and so much fun.
I guess this snow means the fakeout is truly over
