Yeah, I love how it's portrayed as his fault that the police department couldn't get off their asses and do their jobs.

I'm betting someone catches hell with the department too, because most of those cars were sold to him as "needing engines" and he got them all to run on video with a jump box and some brake clean. Sounds almost like someone was overstating the severity of issues just to get new vehicles for the department.

At least they fixed the part where it originally said "to be used at events at his abandoned racetrack." Well, if they're holding events there, it ain't abandoned now, is it? Also, with the amount of work he's done there, it doesn't even look abandoned.

That's the next town north of us, and we drive through it every time we go to the FIRM.

Let's just say none of this is surprising at all.

Yes, the mighty metropolis of Bunnell.

PS: Don’t speed through there. No, I didn’t get a ticket, but a dude passing me did.

If someone squatted on the location and then claimed to own it, I could buy that it was abandoned.  As it was, it was just not being used as paved.  Now it is because it was sold for money- hardly abandoned.

I've heard people express concern that Cletus is using up all the Crown Vic Interceptors that are left, although I assume there's still plenty more of them out there.

The needing engine comment is fairly common. The city is getting rid of them regardless as they've aged out, and putting that indicates you're possibly not getting a good vehicle. People buy a tired city vehicle and start coming back with problems like its got a warranty. It's one of the reasons we don't auction oir old stuff anymore and have it scraped.
