Since many of you guys (including me) really adore The World's Fastest Indian, I have to highly recommend viewing the Flying Scotsman. I watched it for the first time yesterday and was blown away. It is based on a true story about a bipolar Scottish cyclist who builds a home made time trials bike out of various bits and pieces found around the garage to attempt a time trials world record. Thats where i'll stop..
My wife tivoed that for me last week and we watched it together. Was very good, and made me feel nostalgic since it happened back when I was racing bicycles.
Quite a good movie, not as good as worlds fastest indian, but pretty good.

The train? saw it in York.
Sounds neat.
I'll have to see if I can get it.
By the way, when I was kid growing up in the UK, my Dad worked for British Railways. We'd see the original Flying Scotsman with Gresley steam locomotive on a regular basis.
Later when we moved to Canada, Dad got a job at Canadian National Railroad. When he first saw the huge Canadian diesel locomotives (used for pulling logging and mining cars), he said they made the British steamers look puny by comparison.
Oh, see... now I thought you meant THE Flying Scot...
no no no..this is the flying scotsman
