I didn't even get the hail that everyone around me was talking about. It was sunny as hell on Saturday.
Dang.
This weekend, my phone and my Google Photos gave the typical reminder of "remember this from 1, 2, 3,4 etc years ago?
In that grouping over the various years was everything from snow to wearing shorts.
I pulled the Blizzaks off the Mini two weeks ago before heading south on a road trip, but I figured I was already being a little conservative still having them on here.
Hope it switches to rain promptly.
I spent most of the weekend pumping water from my garage and backyard. Also went for a 2hr motorcycle ride Sunday.
Forecast is saying 30-80cm (12-31") of snow starting Wednesday....

Major spring blizzard poised to wallop southern Manitoba and southeastern Saskatchewan mid-week...with widespread snowfall accumulations of 30-50 cm accompanied by northerly winds gusting 70-90 km/h giving zero visibility at times in snow and blowing snow.
A Colorado low will move towards Minnesota Tuesday night bringing a heavy swath of snow from southeastern Saskatchewan through most of southern Manitoba. The snow will start early Tuesday evening near the International border then push northward throughout the night. By Wednesday morning heavy snow will be falling in much of the area as the storm continues to push northward, and snow accompanied by strong northerly winds is expected to continue right through to early Friday morning as the low slowly pivots through Minnesota on it's way into northwestern Ontario. By Friday morning widespread snowfall accumulations of 30 to 50 cm are expected...with possible accumulations approaching 80 cm in the higher terrain of western Manitoba and the western Red River Valley.
Travel will become increasingly difficult as the day progresses Wednesday, with widespread highway closures a near-certainty. By Wednesday evening even travel within communities may become impossible as the heavy snow and strong winds continue... and more of the same is expected on Thursday.
Do not plan to travel - this storm has the potential to be the worst blizzard in decades. Stock up on needed supplies and medications now. Power outages are likely, rural areas in particular should be prepared for extended outages.
Conditions should begin to improve on Friday as the winds taper off and the heaviest snow moves into northern Ontario...although the clean-up after this storm will likely last well into next week.

Snoqualmie Pass was a mess, presumably because lots of people had taken off their snows, per 3/31 deadline. Well, that's being charitable: it likely would've been a mess regardless. Got AWD but 200 treadwear summer-only tires? Feel free to venture on up, legally. Got FWD, LSD, studded snows, traction control? Sorry, you can't go, unless you chain up. An incredibly stupid law...

This was definitely not what I expected to wake up to this morning in Portland 
In Ohio we had some sleet and hail Saturday night but nothing like you guys are getting today! Enoy the last, hopefully, gasp of winter.
I had to go in to stupid work during this storm. Where the internet is ungodly slow and we have no working phones thanks to the snow damaging equipment. And I had to dodge dozens of downed trees and power lines.
Home has lightning fast wifi and working phones. So I am being less useful because my employer is pedantic. And to top it off they changed the inclement weather policy so I had to use an hour of PTO this morning. I'm so pissed off.
Didn't snow down where I'm at (Renton/Newcastle), but this weather has been incredibly odd...
April 1st - 3rd was nice and sunny (as sunny as it gets in the PNW), 4th decided to rain and hail and blow trees over, by the 7th it was 80 degrees F and reminded me of SoCal, and then temperatures dropped below freezing + intermittent hail from the 8th - 10th...
Maybe I'm just not used to PNW weather yet haha

This is bipolar even for the PNW.
Over here in ND, we are supposed to get 24" by Saturday which will help with the exceptional drought we have been enduring for the last couple of years. I will take photos and changed the oil in the snowblower today, the first time ever before the blizzard. 
No snow up my way... yet. But we have been getting some seriously indecisive weather. It'll be sunny but cold, then suddenly hail, then sunny but wind, then rain, then wind...
Like it wants to be everything all at once.
Nothing in the Seattle area directly, but about 5 minutes ago today (4/12) I saw some snow, but it's sunny again now.
On my 6 mile commute home, I went from rain, to snow, to sideways snow to hail to just wind to sunny and warm.
6 miles, damn near every season.
I'm pretty sure the weather man is drunk and just pushing buttons.
Getting ready to go to work today and the sky opened up and started puking big fat heavy snow and It was accumulating. I figured I could make it too work, but worried I wouldn't be able to get home with my tiny little car. So I called in and took a personal day.
then the sun came out and it stopped snowing.
21" so far after about 24 hours with at least 7" more to come. Is this what it's like to live by the Great Lakes?
It's hailed, snowed, rained, and been sunny all on the last 10 minutes.
Only about 12 hours left to go... Lol. Tomorrow I will have to snow blow out into the street across to the other curb and then to the left about 100 feet so that when the snow plow comes by, he doesn't build a 4 foot ice berm across my driveway. 
I'm also trying to earn my way into heaven in case there is a god, so I will snow blow up and down my corner lot's blocks and neighbors' sidewalks and do the older than me people's driveways. And I'm no spring chicken.

Lol, Is there a prize for the most snow?. I hear that 12" of snow = 1" of water, more or less, so (30"/12") = 2.5" of moisture???. Our average moisture is 17" per year. Back in the sixty's the snow drifts reached the soffits, pretty big when you're only 4' tall. I remember digging out of 3' total which is awful.

This winter has sucked here, but we didn't get almost 3 feet at once this year.
What we got was 16 inches and then heavy rain. That's probably the worst slop I've ever seen.
Most we've got in a 24 hr period was I think 40 inches here?
