Not nearly as cool, but after reading your above two posts, I realized there's a "void" between my bedroom and my kid's room. I'm absolutely positive that if I put a hole in the wall to my left I would see a 5x15 "room". My imagination is going crazy

I drove the Mini today for the first time with my new seats. Also did a test of my new center console. That made me happy. Still have more work to do before the project is finished but it was good to take her out for an errand.
It was sunny and warm today and the snow is almost all gone and the kids were in school for a change and DAMN! I'm in a good mood!
I have to work the next 13 days in a row and most will be 11-12 hours days and I usually get up at 4:30am to get ready and the wife is snoring logs like crazy at that hour and I have to leave work sometimes to go home at 6:00pm but I truly feel blessed to be employed and making some serious cash. Thank you Lord!
Not sure about "damn good", but the forecast is low 40's, the freezing rain stayed north of me. I wore my hoodie instead of winter coat, gym shoes instead of the boots, and drove the Abarth instead of the Subarust.
Cold and crappy again today. Back in a funk.

Drove the Abarth today (and this past weekend). The forecast is for 57F today (about 50 more than Friday). ...but I still have heated seats for the 30F mornings. Maybe spring is finally springing?
Finally pulled the trigger on a big parts order for El Rabbito including some swanky BFG Gforce Rival II's that Tirerack had marked down! Gotta get rolling to have it all back together for the first autox races!
Oh and the polar ice caps are finally melting here.
For once, I get to post here. Over the past few days, I've lined up 2 roommates, gotten my dad to understand that the old interwebs are the modern form of advertisement, and I'm doing okay with work. This is the first day since my wife asked for the divorce that I've felt good.

Took the afternoon off from work to hand with Mrs Allroad. Spent most of the time shopping and enjoying each other's company. Feels good.

Took the day off yesterday with my gf, my son, niece and gf's son are on spring break. Had some awesome Dim Sum (first time for most of them) and got to visit the Toyota Museum in Torrance. Then dropped the kids off and took Joanne to the u-pull-it and she thought it was the coolest thing ever. Visited my friend Marissa's workplace, which had all kinds of gym equipment and their own boxing ring. Wrapped up the night with gas go karts- passed all the kids! still go it 
and then a round of mini golf. 195 miles round trip and the kids had a great time and not one complaint the entire day!

Off work with pay (makes it a very Good Friday) & getting the MR2's windows tinted today.
Going to put in a couple hrs on the computer this morning and then hit the garage. I've been making solid progress but have to get through the repairs so I can build some trust with the car. Need to feel good enough to do an 800+ mile road trip with Wifee.

Noticed that the brakes on the suburban were acting a little funny and the left front wheel was both hot and dirty so today after work I jacked it up (huge floor jack) and took off the wheels (pneumatic impact gun) and noted that the pads were thin but not into the rotor. Two years ago just after a road trip it had eaten the right front pads so when I bought a set then i only replaced the right side, this means I had a set of pads sitting on the shelf in the garage ready to go
I took out the slides (very sticky and caked up). Cleaned them, regreased them, slapped in the new pads and put it all back together. Less than an hour total and didn't even get my hands dirty (mechanics gloves).
I think this is a perk to getting older and wiser. I'm still not and likely never will be rich but I have enough and make what I have do the best that it can.
Cutting the old, damaged starter ring gear off the Mustang flywheel went better and easier than expected. Lit a fire in the living room wood stove. Wife watched me put a new stater gear in wood stove and then a few minutes later run it across the house to the basement to hammer it in place. Not only was I not chastised for this activity, she was actually impressed with my resourcefulness.
I'm in a pretty damn good mood!

My mom is back home after a BIG stroke, she's doing very well. My daughter went to her senior prom, talk about bittersweet moments. Drove five sessions at Roebling last weekend, after one big stupid I drove well the rest of the weekend. LeMons Southern Discomfort is next weekend. Last PET scan looked very good.
