Tiger Mom bought me all new suspension bushings for the Miata but they didn't get her in time.

I bought her a pretty .357 Taurus revolver.

Heading over to sisters' house to see most of the family in a few minutes, more loot should be in the offing.

Almost forgot, I got a new set of red Crocs too. Now my old set can be retired to Grosh duty. I'm officially the guy who has a "good" pair of Crocs. Deucekid#1 insisted on shoving her new shoe in the picture to show she's waaaaaaay cooler.

I got my wife the larger KitchenAid mixer for which she's been pining for the last decade and a half.

Of course, the surprise was ruined because Amazon didn't ship it in an Amazon box like I asked and she found it on the door step about a month ago. She was still pretty giddy about it. And also a bit pissed that I wouldn't let her open it early.

For the RV, she got me some LED lanterns and a couple folding folding tables. And I finally have one of those nifty non-contact instant read thermometers! We also got Nerf guns for the kids so she got one for me as well. I've alternated between running around the house checking the temperature of EVERYTHING and sneaking up on the kids and pumping them full of foam darts.

Oooh! Maybe I could see if their temperature rises after they've been shot with half a dozen Nerf darts!

I got candy, basketball shorts, and a carhart pocket t shirt. And some cash.

To be fair, it's just me and my mom that exchange, with token gifts from the little one who isn't here today.

More exciting, to me anyway, is that my foundry in a bucket works!

the bad thing for me: Being single and being in a family where everyone is either retired or disabled, therefor on fixed incomes, it falls to me to get all the cool toys for the kids. I spend most of the year finding and buying them just for Christmas.

I got some shop stuff, 12 year old Rye and a pair of Ariat paddock boots.

I surprised my wife and daughters with a 3 day Buck Brannaman riding clinic in Lexington Ky. They were happy and that's what really counts.

A small drill powered nibbler for cutting shapes in sheet metal, stainless and plastic. It came with a fixture to hold the drill off the edge of a work table so it can be used like a band saw or router table.

Pretty nifty.

Saw those yesterday at Brookstone when getting a massage chair for SWMBO. Cat Ear Headphones. The ears have speakers (for sharing what you're listening to) and LED lights. Come in either wired or wireless Bluetooth. Cat Ear headphones .

Already picked up one last week, tri-fold bed cover for the truck. Kids got it for me. Kids and grandkids not due to come over for another hour or so, that's when we'll open gifts.

I am impossible to buy for, because I will always buy it for myself. I did buy myself a few autographed pennywise albums that I didn't buy when I saw them in orlando for my birthday. Swmbo got me a full complement of pilot parallel pens, as well as a dope calligraphy book. And some smelly beard stuff and comb and scissors and stuff, so I look slightly less homeless than usual.
