For this, the premier week, I nominate one I believe with become a regular here, Kanye West:

EDIT: Oh, and please don't flounder the thread. Politicians as "Morons of the Week" (unless they do something outside the world of politics) is just too easy and shows a lack of effort, and we want to be respectful of the "house rules".
What a relief. I didn't win.
Yeah, I had to check to see if my name was in here.
Is your nomination for Kanye or the berktards that pay money to go to his concert?
In reply to Lancer007:
Yes
I know this thread just started and is only a few hours old...
...but, would it be inappropriate to nominate Kanye to the Hall of Fame? (Hall of Morons?)
Adrian Peterson could be another nomination

I am not a vikings nor a football fan, but I am well versed in human services and multiple cultures. There's a lot more to the ap story than anyone will ever hear. I do not condone nor do I support his actions, but I'm tired of hearing about it, and the immediate call for his head on a pike.

I was afraid it would be me … this wasn't there last night … when I left to go a-x this morning there it was … and if anyone is wondering, I have zero interest in running for ANY office … much less congress
someone has a weird sense of humor … maybe there's someone around here with my name that is running for congress… but if so this is the first I've seen and they don't have permission to put that in my yard

I've always wanted to run for public office just to see if someone was dumb enough to elect me.

I had a friend in the Boston area who ran for mayor of Weymouth when he was 18... and actually got a bunch of votes!

That's awesome. I'm 34 and look homeless most of the time lol.... I should win by a landslide!

I don't condone what he did but my nomination is for his overall handling of the situation. Your the best rb in football, anything you do is in the public eye. Keep your damn nose clean and if you do something stupid don't act like it's no big deal.and just brush it off
And, immediately, I begin to regret the "No politicians" rule.

Thanks for introducing this. I've been busy today and away from my computer.
Did anyone else when reading about this clown have a desire to go to one of his concerts, prop your feet up and dare anyone to try to force you to change your (re)pose?
I'm pretty sure it that was me, Kanye would have had that wheelchair hurdled at his head or at the very least, the leg.
Urbanoutfitters might be giving Kanye a run for his money.
After finally watching the 1st Formula E race I'll go ahead and nominate Prost.

I don't know what's worse, the shirt itself or the fact that it costs $129

Well, it was sold, apparently- so I vote the idjit that paid 129$ for it as the moron. UO was sorta brilliant with the marketing in an "i'm an shiny happy person" sorta way. They're all over the place now... for free! Advocacy groups may hate it, but their shopping demographic wasn't even born then, so they won't know and will flood the place looking for it and similar.
I wasn't born then and I understand why that shirt is offensive (apart from the price).
Slipping a little. Since its been two weeks, I'll go with two. First, a la John Madden ("The player of the game is the offensive line"), I'll nominate the coaches/trainers/team doc and A.D. at U of M for this little fiasco. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=11613494
As my alternative, I'll go with another potential hall of famer, Louis Farrakhan: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/10/02/farrakhan-claims-ebola-invented-to-kill-off-blacks/
My brother was born on May 4, 1970 - the day of the shootings.
My mom always seemed sad about that day.
Been a while, but here's another entry. Busted for Possesion/Distribution of Meth. Wonder how the 5 Oh caught on?
