Well, she is fianlly here! Sydney Elizabeth Hutton got here Monday at 4:10 in the afternoon after 13 hours of labor. I have to say, she is the most beautiful girl i have ever seen! All the prep, money saving, early bedtimes, back massages were totally worth it!
My girlfirend's water broke at 2:15 in the morning, and i was totally asleep, thinking it was a dream. Finally got up, shaved my beard off so i wouldnt look nasty in all the photos, and jumped in the car. I have to tell ya, the drive wasnt what i thought it would be. I was imagining clocking 100mph, zipping in and out of cars. Nothing like that. It was a leisurley 70mph, nobody in sight.
Then came the waiting game. Jessica had 2 Epidurals (no fun at all), and slept thru all the contractions. I brought my latest issue of Grassroots with me, and that was it. I have to thank Grassroots for making such a great magazine, i read every page! Then all the family started showing up before it was time to push. My mom had one leg, her mom had the other, i was pushing on her back. The midwife was delivering another baby, so we had to wait a good 20 minutes before Jessica could give the last good couple of pushes. When the midwife finally came, she popped right out!
6 Pounds, 10 ounces, 19 inches long. Not one problem at all! She has completely changed my life for the better. I have to say, the drive home last night, was the most nervous drive for me in my life. Ive been more confident driving cars worth more than houses than driving with my new born daughter in the car!! I love her with all my heart! I have a good feeling about where she will show interest...
You'll never be the same.
My baby girl is 27 Yo. I still get calls.
Contrats to you and more so to Momma.
YEAH! congrats man!
Now name her something cool like "Colin Sprongl Torque"
Shouldn't that be Coline? Or Coline Spronglie?
A buddy of mine named his kid "Jerrick Danger Wingerter". Yes, Danger is his middle name. His first name is gonna get him beat up a lot though.
Congrats!
There's only one thing wrong with the whole post and concept "My girlfriend's water broke . . ."
Shouldn't that read "My WIFE's water broke . . ."
Man UP!

My girlfriends brother is seriously considering naming his child "Optimus" (either first or middle) if it is a boy... His wife is not amused...
Congratulations! Eventually she will sleep through the night.

Some people just don't think about what they're putting their kids thru. It's cute to the parents and their friends for a little while, but the kid's gotta live with it for the rest of their lives! I just hope he doesn't feel he has to live up to his middle name.
Congratulations! That's a beautiful family you've got there.
congrats!
When my son was born in 1991 I had a small Nissan 200SX, so I borrowed my dad's 1985 Lincoln Town Car to "safely" bring him home. Today I kinda laugh at that.
this was her, in the womb...

I wasn't afraid of naming my son Tanner Brown, My wife is a tough little shemale and I am 6'3" and have hovered around 300lbs for 20 years or so. Odds were good that he was going to be a biggun.
