Corporate-Welfare Queens - The GOP needs to take them on.
Right on for the National Review. It's good to see them come around to my often labelled 'liberal' point of view on this matter. The National Review also known as the bible of American Conservatism comes out in support of stopping subsidies, tax abatements, and other forms of government corporate welfare.
Since conservatives now have permission to rail against corporations that take a free ride on the American tax payer, lets hear the outrage. Feel free to post stories about how Boeing bought the equivalent of a filet mignon on food stamps but in a corporate and capitalistic sense. I'm sure many of you will be just as outraged at AT&T as you will be against the poor.
Dude. What are you doing?
Wow an average of over $700 per US citizen in straight up giving companies cash for no good reason...and GE, famous for paying sums at or near zero in corporate taxes, took in clean over 1/3 billion of it.
But I think the problem is that it's not as easy to see. Nobody has a big screen TV or big blingy rims who shouldn't be able to afford it. You don't see megayachts and mega-mansions everyday, and when you do, working out the numbers is like trying to do math on infinity to the rest of us.
Not sure what this thread is about, but I LOVE the train wreck videos!
This seems like it's headed downhill.

As much as I understand the haha funny of the derailment GIFs, the Santiago de Compostela crash killed 79 people. Just so people don't forget the tragedy behind the funny GIFs.
