GPS- If you've never workied on a MINI- (and I pray you haven't) It's damn near that way. I spent 10min trying to figure out where the damn thing was under the hood, only to discover it wasn't there at all, and it was in the spare tire well. I FURTHER was confused as to where the spare tire was, as we bought it used and I had no clue it had runflats on it when purchased. That's just like everything in that car. Hood latch? Passenger door panel. Seat adjust? Gotta move the arm rest to get your lean on. Only thing that's easy about that stupid car is changing the headlights, and that's because they move with the hood. Strangely, the overall functionality and use is top notch. I think you're damn close with the iMINI. Stupid overpriced BMW parts......
The check engine light will never come on.
Porsche comes to mind. People hate Porsche owners, but love the cars. They're trendy for a reason. Clean, focused design that is more about perfecting a concept than feature-to-feature with its competitors. It's a small company that sells lower variety and volume of vehicles than others, at a higher profit margin, which allowed it to pull together funds sufficient to buy a majority of the shares in the world's second largest car company.
FUNNY! And every post was 100% accurate.

That move backfired HUGELY on Porsche, though, leaving them billions in debt and they had to get outside capital. It was a huge mess.

It will revolutionize the car industry, except it will only run on gas Apple sells and you can only drive it on Apples roads
You mean like MS don't you (they've been doing that since their inception).
Oh wait, an MS car would also require a large mechanic staff to go everywhere you went to make sure it ran or else require a significant portion of your day to keep it going. That means you could only plan on driving 6 hours a day because it would take 18 hours to get it ready to run the next day. So it would only be good for short trips.
The speed of the MS car would also vary greatly as "things" like virus' stuck to it and you would have to constantly have to "demagnetize" it to get rid of all the excess baggage that stuck to it.
The MS car would have the steering wheel on one side of the car and the gas pedals on the other and no telling where the radio knob would be.
Nope...dont mean that at all...nothing at all like MS...not even a little bit.
but thanks for playing
just as an outside observer.. I use PCs and Macs (macs for editing) and I have never understood the hatred for one by the other. As an aside, I have also not seen a BSOD since 2005 and my computers (I have three) run almost 24/7
It will never fail to start, but you wont get to turn a key cause apple wont give you that kind of control
It will get great gas milage but only apple can fill the tank with thier gas with an appointment
It will never need repairs, but only apple will be able to open the hood to do maintenance, or add air to the tires, or any service for that amtter, again, with an appointment only
It will be a decent performer, but there will be no aftermarket without apples approval and all parts must be installed by apple at a certified apple dealer, with an appointment
Grandmas and people with no mechanical knowledge will love it, car guys and people with actual knowledge or those seeking a performance egde will hate and ignore it....
It will always be covered in finger smudges?
on the good news side.. you will be able to have tearoffs on the windshield instead of wipers
