The NON Event....

Am I the only one who's already tired of the insipid commercials for this new fall series? The "teaser" commercials make it sound like a cross between 24 and LOST. Ironically(?) I'm now more interested in the new series, but not by much more, that NBC has "paired" with it when running commercials for their new fall series.

Any other series that have commercials that are turning you off/have turned you off in the past?

Sort of off the topic, a bit. This past week I spent a few days in a motel while some plumbing work was being done on my house. I don't have cable or satellite, so when I saw the tv guide and saw that the series NEWHART was showing...I had to watch. It still stands up, in my opinion.

I don't watch any major-network TV, so I'm spared most of that.

I would, however, like to take all of the "talent", marketing department, and production staff from the Bravo network, line them up against the wall, and flamethrower them. To death. Starting from the bottom.

No TV service and satellite radio = I don't really get exposed to commercials like that unless I'm at my parents' house or something. I really like it that way.

Iam just sick of the poor goldfish in the fish out of water commercials!
