There is nothing wrong with breakfast for dinner, I had French Toast myself

Breakfast for dinner is fine, as long as there is bacon involved.

EXACTLY !! Scrambled eggs smothered in Salsa with a cherry pepper on the side. Saying that's not dinner is like saying a woman's place is chained to the stove.

Oh wait....

Come up to New Jersey sometime then. home to the 24 hour diner serving breakfast for all 24 of those hours

You can have breakfast at night, but that's only AFTER you've already had a proper dinner, then gone out on the town and are now fixing to crawl back into your hole.

My mom and dad were big fans of that whole "breakfast for dinner" nonsense. They'd occasionally drop a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon in front of me with that grimly determined "this is fun!" parental attitude, and all I could think was, "Where's my berkeleying meatloaf? Where are the creamy mashed potatoes??!!"

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Now, wait a minute--we've got people on this board who keep an apocalypse pack ready to go at all times, people who recall the '80s waaay too precisely, people who like Contours, Geos, P71s and YUGOs, for God's sake, never mind Wally, savant of all things weirdly fascinating, and you're calling ME quirky?

Yes, not liking breakfast foods for dinner makes you quirky. Not weird, just quirky. Don't worry, I'll still bow down before you when we meet again.

No, no, nonononono. I sometimes have hot chicken wings and pot of black coffee with the Sunday comics, is that quirky? Nope.

Left foot, left shoe, I got that. Breakfast food at breakfast ONLY. Maybe quirky is too strong, Conservative Republican is correct. You know it's all Obama's fault (Bush is gone)

And I won't even dab my toe into the Wally waters....

Did someone say WaffleHouse?

the only thing i usually get at denneys (only 24hour sit down place round here) is cappuccino or hot chocolate.

I miss waffle house, and dont get me started on missing steak and shake.

I typically only eat big breakfasts when I have stayed up all night. It's kind of like a dinner because it is not preceded by sleep, but it is typically served at breakfast time. This morning, I had two bagels that I made from scratch, a boiled egg, and a handful of prunes. Not to mention fresh-ground, locally roasted coffee.

My prefered breakfast is a carnation shake with penut butter, or frozen waffles... now I want to drive 90 miles to go to Stella's up in Syracuse

I really really wish I had a waffle house within driving distance. I just love the craptacular tastiness of the food.

I cannot get my family into a Waffle House.

I usually have a Crest and Coke for breakfast.

'Round here it's known as AwfulHouse. I eat there pretty much under protest. Omelets don't have to be greasy, ya know.

One great thing about living in Middle Georgia is that you never have to go more than about 2 miles to find a Waffle /Huddle House, the difference being the Huddle House has deep fryers, whereas the Waffle house doesn't. Don't get me wrong.. I love hash browns just fine (especially with onions and jalapeno peppers), but a BLT with french fries and coffee is THE way to start a day!

To me, potatoes are a lot like bacon; there is just no wrong way to do it.

I'm tired of hearing about the berkeleying Octomom. The past couple of nights, my girlfriend has had the TV on, and that's all everyone is talking about. I don't care. Pardon my french, but she's just an attention whore and everyone is giving her exactly what she wants.

All the attention she's getting is validating her and her doctor's actions, and is opening up the door for other stupid attention whores to do the same damned thing.

I find that story about as tasteless and boring as reality TV, Britney and Paris Hilton.

On the other hand... I love me a bowl of cereal when I get home from working the fricking night shift.

But I only have one, not eight. Oh, and I paid for it... with working.

octomom the new anna nicole?

i must agree, i hate how the news channels pick up a story and thats all you hear about for several days.

when i have access to it, the only news show i turn on is BBC world news.

that said, i turn fox news, NBC, CNN on fr while im waking up and as mindless background for when im doing other things.
