Today I have to clean the entire house and do a bunch of yard work along with hopefully washing the bike.
I don't know which to tackle first.
I'm thinking yard work then wash the bike then shower then clean house then another shower.
Or I could clean the house first but the boy is in here and he is like a one man clean destroying cyborg sent from the future to spread filth and refuse upon every clean surface he encounters.
I really think I should wait until he is winding down to clean the house.
Why am I asking here instead of just starting you ask? Procrastination is the answer you are looking for.

Why do today, that which you can do tomorrow?
The in-laws are coming tomorrow morning

You are screwed. Just leave town and be on the ball for the next one.
Cut your losses! Make hay while the sun shines. Leave no stone unturned.

Next time, Put the minion to work helping with the yard so that he's extra tuckered when you get to the interior work.
In reply to bluej:
Good idea! He gets excited when I ask him to help in the yard. However that enthusiasm only last for about ten minutes then the next thing I know he's disappeared back into the house and playing games.
Progress report; Backyard is raked, mowed and weedeated. Half of the front yard is raked.

Wait, there's grass in Texas?
What can you get the in-laws to help you with?

Lots and lots of the fastest growing stupid grass I've ever seen. I've already mowed three times this year.
shoot. I'm about to do the third mowing in 4 weeks. Ugghh. I really need to tune up the lawn mower too. It was running poor the last time I used it.

I won't have to mow for a while. There is a good 4 ft of snow in my backyard.

Yard work is done, bike is clean, laundry is done. Rum and Coke has been made. The wife was kind enough to get the house picked up so all that is left is to scrub everything.

I haven't had a yard for 2-1/2 years. I'm never mowing again. If I do happen to end up with a yard at some point I'll be looking for someone else to do the yard work before the deal is done.
In reply to petegossett:
I'm with you on that. One of the reasons I liked the place we are in currently is the tiny little yard. Unfortunately, it still takes way too much of my time to keep it looking good.
And I'm done
All carpets vacuumed 3X
Tile mopped
Walls wiped down
Kitchen and both bathrooms sparkling
Every piece of furniture/useless decor crap cleaned
Man that was a lot for one day. But it all was necessary. Now for one or two more rum and cokes then a shower.
