When I worked at Year One our main competitor was The Paddock.

I hate to see anyone have to close up shop, but just dang. They were pretty big at one time too. Just blows my mind. Makes me wonder how low Year One has sunk.

Wow, they've been around for a LONG time too. I personally never ordered anything from them because they were always more expensive than the competition, and I heard many stories about getting poor service from them.

Interesting. I order old car parts all the time and never used them. Actually never even heard of them that I can remember. I use Year One, Classic Industries, LMC, or OPG.

I tried using the Paddock a few times in the past. Mostly when I was putting my Barracuda together. Either they didn't have the part I needed or if they did it was much more expensive than other sources.

My buddies usually had better luck with them than I did. I'm still sad to see them gone.
