Thanks to TikTok and YouTube, I tend to fall down a lot of rabbit holes. In example, I saw clips from the MAX series Chernobyl. Then I watched the series. Then, I watched all of the documentaries I could about Chernobyl. I studied nuclear engineering in a past life - even visited 3 Mile Island - so then I refreshed my memory about what happened there. Then I realized that I knew little about Fukushima, so I kept going down the hole about that screw-up.
Deciding I had had enough of nuclear power for a while, so I fell into a MIL-24 HIND hole. Why, because awesome, that's why.
I am not sure what's next, but submarines, tanks, and steamtrains have all been beckoning.
The only thing I know about the Hind I learned from Liquid Snake.

If you want to go further down the Chernobyl rabbit hole read Midnight in Chernobyl. It gets into some horrific detail they could fit in the Max series.
Mine for the last couple of weeks has been Les Paul guitars. I now really want a ES 330. I even went to Guitar center today and was just in awe of all the Les Paul's they had. I got to try a standard one from the 70s that was all beat up. But dam did it play nice. At close to 5 figures I am just not good enough to even consider a guitar of this type but now I know what it is like to play one.
I also tried several Epiphones and yes they are really nice there was just something about those Les Paul's. I don't need a new one from there custom shop but they are so sexy.
I vote submarines next. Read Blind Man's Bluff. Then YT and TikTok it.
