Those look like Lionells? We have LGB's and Playmobil. Better (less destructible) for young kids. I think I was about 5 when I got it.

It's a Lionel set I got as a wedding present and a couple freight cars we picked up over time.

Christmas trains are awesome. My grandfather has a ridiculous HO gauge set-up, but he hasn't put it together in some time.

And for God's sake, get yourself some H.O. scale stuff. That third rail just looks silly.
Around a tree Lionel is the only way to go. The clack of the rails, the spark from the crossing signal and the slight smell of ozone from the engine and transformer are how you know Christmas is coming,
