Your autocross hat may be huge, it may even have a big neck flap, but does it have solar panels and a USB port to charge your phone from? There's no battery so it needs to be plugged in at all times...or maybe you could strap a USB battery pack to it for extra style:

This level of style doesn't come cheap, it's $129, but it is at least 10 times as stylish as an ordinary $15 floppy hat.
That is a cool idea but wow it's expensive.
I worked at a place with a Suggestion Program, they pay 10% of what you save them the first year. Just safety oriented? $75.
Back in the 1970s when it looked as though our next conflict would be in sunnier climes, I suggested the Kevlar helmet have solar cooling installed, Officers get the tiny AC units.
They told me to get lost.

I would definitely buy one at $128, but $129? Too rich for me.
How to add a GIF? Image hotlinking didn't seem to work.

How do you find the person in charge at an autocross event?
That even takes things up a level from the previous winner, which was one of the classic Umbrella Hats:
I was impressed by the significantly increased airflow compared to the standard sun hat.
I don't have pictures of me with mine but how about solar panels and fans? It's pretty awesome on a hot sunny day.

Having one to be able to charge camera batteries at an event while on the go would be pretty great.

I use mine a good bit in the summer. Perfect for fishing on a still day or standing around in a parking lot.
The only disadvantage is it's a bit heavy.
