My wife despises those dolls. It's all I can do to keep her from kicking them across the show field.

I did a bunch of car shows last year & started seeing those things. My fiancee came to one and was like "what the hell is that creepy thing?" I do like the tread mark idea though!

Nope, sorry. Ain't givin it up. My wife owns a half dozen Coach purses and countless accessories. I've spent several hours looking at Coach stuff at the Coach store. Her dad buys her something Coach for her birthday every year.
I'm not giving up my man card over recognizing the emblem of a product my wife likes. Sorry

I recognized it too but didn't comment. My last ex-wife spent lots of her $ on some of mine on Coach stuff.

Yeah, your man cards are pulled.
What the hell is "coach" other than the normal seats on a plane?
Apparently it is quite trendy to make crappy purses made China and throw a logo all over them in the most obnoxious way possible.

all the car shows now have rubber rats and motorized rubber rats - all the big block Chevy guys.

Come on, lemme keep my card. Note, I referred to the ex-wife. Her spending habits were a significant factor in he being an ex.

Tunawife thinks I should give it back, although she questioned anyone mentioning either on a car forum.

Do you really want me to keep going?
And honestly I hate the whole "Man Card" thing. I don't understand it and I don't like that it's supposed to make someone feel bad for knowing something someone else doesn't.
I'm not embarrassed that I know more about something than I want to about something my wife likes.
On that note, here's a little interesting tidbit:
Lexus offered "Coach Edition" models on both the LS400 and ES300 that contained Coach leather interiors. They were very limited models. They pop up on Craigslist from time to time.
Coach at one point made very high quality items. I know a few males that have sworn by coach wallets. Just good well constructed nhigh quality materials.

I actually have a Coach wallet. It's been pretty good to me the last couple years.

This car is local to TR8todd, and I. Todd sold him some parts for it from his stash of 2002 parts. The car is ridiculous!! It draws lots of attention, but looks stupid if you ask me.

I owned an LS400 Coach Edition. Guess I'll have to turn in my card, too. Derp.
The man card pull was not for knowing what Coach was, or for knowing what Gucci was... it was pulled because you were willing to call out the difference and for that you are now on official double secret probation.
Go eat a rare steak or wrestle a bear in pennance.
I know this is a "what were they thinking" thread, but there are almost as many pictures of purses as cars. I'll fix that and add a little manliness as I go.
Because I care, folks. Now back to your regularly scheduled "what were they thinking" thread. Please, try to avoid purses.
I think what amuses me more than anything- Is over this whole thread I've found elements of things I like in nearly every post. I actually kind of like the Cruze with the LED's. Candy paint on donks when done right is gorgeous. I like the bimmer rat rod. and so on.
Silly automotive trends? Imagine spending thousands of $'s on wheels, tires, suspension and rebuilding a stock engine making around 130hp!! What the hells the point of that? Different stokes for different folks rememebr
