Catching puke isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.. I always figured it would make me puke on them but have caught it a few times now..

He gets so excited when he starts peeing that he lifts his legs so that he can see what's going into the potty. It's then that he peed on Daddy. I'm going to go change my pants now. Yup, I posted first. #3 is still napping, otherwise this would be harder. Like yesterday. Yesterday poo was involved. It made it as far as the kitchen and all of the kids were very interested/upset. Nice #4 coming in November is going to make this all the more interesting.
There's an operation you can get to take care of that.
I require, and have not yet received, clearance from a certain interested party to do that.

And she's not home.... interesting.....

Hmmm. Doesn't seem right. Ever hear of a doc asking the husband if it's OK to tie tubes? As someone else already posted: 'my body, my choice'.
I was in on the conversation when they were discussing tube tying with my wife. We both came to the decision to get them tied.

Right, got that. My question: if she went to the doc on her own and said 'tie 'em', would he have said 'I can't until hubby says yes'. I was asked if my wife knew I was getting snipped but was not told that she had to give consent. She didn't sign consent forms, only I did.

When she had major surgery to correct an intestinal condition, I was there for the consultations. I asked questions. I was told (in front of her) that if she did not come out of the surgery I may need to make certain decisions and was asked to sign an affidavit that I had been informed of this. (IIRC she had to sign that one too.) I was there at the hospital during the surgery and took her home, I was given a list of things to watch for and emergency phone numbers. But at no point did the doc say 'here, sign this so we can have YOUR consent to this surgery on HER'.

Wow. So it's kind of like shopping for cassette decks in the early 1980's. The doors on the cheap decks just flopped open quickly, but the expensive decks were damped and opened really s - l - o - w - l - y.

I gotta get me one of those toilet seats! Wait, is it the lid AND the seat or just the lid?

In reply to Curmudgeon:

That was quite the treatise on bijoonas. Who knew the society was chartered right here in Virginia? I can say that I have learned something today.

both - they work well, but you have to remember when you're using a different bathroom to not let the seat slam
