Ok, let's start of assuming there's an accidental extra 0 on the end of the price, he's still well and above crack-pipe pricing.
There's so much goodness in that ad to rip on, I'll let you guys/girls have at it before I chime in.

I like that there's more than one person on this forum actively looking for a VR4...
This place is full of masochists with good taste.
I want to know where it costs 25K for the motor and trans for one of those? Crazy. Last I saw, it's about 4-5K for the entire front clip. It's a nice car at maybe 10-15K.
That must be the famous VR4 that OJ bought from Janis Joplin before it was used in the slow speed chase.
I lusted after a '95 VR-4 when I was in my early 20's. Should have bought one when I had the chance. I never realized they'd appreciate so drastically. Another missed opportunity to retire in my 40's :P

There must have been so many people trying to knock down his door to get the car for a half mil that he knew he had it underpriced.
There is a forum just for professional auto techs to post there problem cases that they are having problems troubleshooting so other guys can try to help them. It is for all makes and models and like I said, professional techs only, and only when they have tried everything and hit a wall. I used to frequent it when I was still wrenching for a living. The reason I bring this up is because the dodge stealth and 3000gt make up probably 1/100th of 1% of the cars on the road, but there where new posts on there every damn day where these things were broke down and nobody could figure out why. And it would be something different every time. So it didn't take me long to figure out that while these are a hoot to drive I'm sure, they are rolling garbage. The biturbo of the 90's.
So when are we going to start flooding his inbox with inquiries? Not to raz him about his price, but OMGWTFBBQ I NEED THAT CAR! You know, to see if he'll bump the priced higher...
At first I figured it was a delusional owner - then I checked and saw it was by dealer! I can understand absurd pricing from amateurs, but not from professionals who should know the difference between being greedy and frightening buyers away. Plus, they spelled out the price, just so nobody would assume it was a typo.
My 91 was purchased with a pair of bad turbos, car wouldn't run. It was pretty well modified with everything hks had in the mid-nineties and he had blown it up racing crotch rockets. Ends up turbo shrapnel had gone through most of the engine so it was an expensive gesture to get it road worry again. I will say that when it was done and driveable it was an incredible place to spend hours on the road. It was fast and comfortable.

That's partially my obsession with them. God they are great GT cars and they look so good.

Now I need both a running biturbo and a 3S. I'd probably end up broke and insane though.
Didn't we have a conversation a while back about these things having the gearing to make it to 200 mph really cheaply if you could get enough motor in front of it?
