Not every 250 GTO is worth that much, the two vintage racing bumps were easily repairable (and forgivable), the 250 'Vert in the sand is a replica, and the punch line was lame. Somebody needs to explain to them that the prices on vintage racing cars is directly related to it's provenance. A Ferrari back-up car is worth pennies compared to a LeMans winner.
I have no sympathy for those modern exotics. They can simply buy a new one. Now the older ferrari and the gullwing, those are worth some tears. Thankfully every one of those cars will be repaired to better than factory in no time at all

I'm fairly certain that the Ferrari in the sand is a kit car. And wrecking any modern Bugatti only improves its appearance.
