Things everyone knows, but you aren't supposed to admit

Here's my entry:  Last night, I wasn't feeling well and there was literally NOTHING on TV, so I ended up watching "The Horse Soldiers" on AMC.

John Wayne is a terrible actor.  One of the worst I've ever seen. 

Miatas are "fun" to drive, but they aren't "nice" to drive.

My wife had a discussion with the 15 year old daughter.  She was surprised that sex might be happening at our age.

Most iconic actors are terrible actors.  They always play minor variations on themselves, rather than actual characters.

My contribution:

There has never been a truly good live-action portrayal of Batman.

FR-S/BRZ has more than enough power to be adequate. 

When people say "shut up and take my money", they don't really want to give you their money.

It never matters how good your product is or what features it has, there's always something it's lacking. When you finally add that one item though, then it'll sell like gangbusters. Well, except for that one item it's missing. When you add that, then it'll sell like gangbusters.

"Barbarella" was made to be visually interesting, not so much a good movie.  If you watch it keeping that in mind, it's far more enjoyable.  You look very pretty, pretty pretty.

Nose picking and shower peeing...Everybody has done it before, and will do it again.

Charleston Heston was worse than John Wayne.

There are two types of people in the world. Those who jerk off and liars. 

You install hundreds of security patches a year to make your computer secure, and you have no idea what they do. You probably don't have source. If you do, the build is probably not reproducible. You probably can't interpret source code. If you could, you probably still can't understand the patch code within the context of the rest of the code base. 

You don't own your computer, and probably never did.
