I just ate an entire package of peeps in about ten minutes. It's not the first time this has happened.

I remember a long time ago when I was around 10, a buddy did that. Pink puke!

I bought a package the other day, went to work and proceeded to shove atleast 4 peeps in my mouth at once. My coworkers were sorta impressed.
What are they, like those marshmallow bananas?
I ate an entire bag of jube jubes today in honour of Zombie Jesus.
I must be the only American who doesn't like those things. Never have, always thought they were nasty.

I don't like them either, I don't like any form of marshmallow for the most part.

You missing Tim Tams yet?
I think they are one of those things that you have to grow up with in order not to find them completely ghastly. Same with "candy corn."
My youngest brother showed me something interesting you can do with peeps.
take 2 of them, preferably the birds. place them on a paper plate or paper towel facing eachother in the microwave, about an inch apart, with a toothpick pointed at eachother like they are holding it, kind of jousting style.
microwave. first one to pop loses.
And today they are on sale. . .. We use to torch-er peeps with firecrackers and bottle rockets m80's etc. It is a good thing that video cameras were not around then.
We learned that they actually do burn and if you blow one up with anything bigger than a firecracker it gets very messy.
stale peeps are the best. Gotta open the package and wait a week. Although this didn't work well in fl. Too humid.

oh great, thanks. like I needed to hear that. I have a pile of m80's and firecrackers in the garage, and drive by a grocery store on the way home from work.
Not sure how I feel about marshmallow being scattered around my yard though.

Amen. My BIL prefers them stale, I prefer them on the shelf, unpurchased. Same with Candy Corn.

glops of masrsmallow - a bit softer than a campfire grade one. Then they're covered in a coloured sugar nastiness which is still a bit crystally. I bought a package last year to try - in the name of science of course.

This is a classic!
Its origin is from the early years of the Washington Post annual contents.
