We’re taking a vacation to California to race in a 24 hours of Lemons race held at Buttonwillow racetrack in early December. We’ve been scouring the internet for other things to do between there and LAX and found a few things but not sure if we’re missing something.
Fly into LAX Thursday, Dec 1 at noon- drive towards Buttonwillow to get somewhere close that night.
Race Friday- Sunday night
Now is where the fun begins. We were going to head towards the coast toward Ragged Point Inn near San Simeon. Heard the hotel is outdated but views are incredible. This is as far north as we’d like to be so we can move south towards LAX.
We’re staying until Wednesday, Dec 7 out of LAX at 11am so we have time to sight see until then.
More info- we have a car with unlimited miles. Planning on camping so we’ll have gear to not be tied to hotels. We’re kinda foodies and don’t mind spending money on a fabulous meal. Also love wine. Like outdoor activities and are very open minded.
