I haven't seen any big group rides since I've been in Texas. But in Knoxville I saw many Outlaws in groups of six or eight all the time. These guy's were not into laying low, I don't know how many times they'd blow by me on I-75 or I-40 doing well over 100mph in tight formation.
It's not just out west, in the Philly area the Pagans are not to be underestimated. They are not as comon, or at least, not as visible as they once were, but they are around, and should be given a wide birth.
A buddy of mine (who owns a big Harley) was friendly with one of the guys in the Outlaws. He was invited to come down from Jax to Daytona during bike week. They were all hanging at the Outlaw's clubhouse when one of the main guys ordered them all to their bikes. My friend (who isn't "club" affiliated) was invited to ride with the group. He had no idea where they were headed.
He said it was amazing. They ran in a giant group of 50 or more bikes, didn't pay any attention to lights, signs or anything else----everyone gave them a wide berth. Their destination?
The local ice cream place. Yes.....the Outlaws made a run to get ice cream. I guess they do it every year....it's kind of a tradition.
- club house
- ordered them all to their bikes
- giant group of bikes clogging up roads
Sounds familiar...

In reply to Joe Gearin:
Who doesn't like ice cream? Everyone screams for ice cream, even outlaw bikers. Whatever Marlon Brando was rebelling against, it wasn't ice cream.
In reply to Joe Gearin:
I may not run with a bunch of outlaws, but we always stop for ice cream.
In reply to Giant Purple Snorklewacker:
It does. LOLzers.
