You're going to trust a poll that doesn't identify the political leanings of its' respondents?

It is probably more than you think they should do but a hell of alot less than what FoxNews/Tea Baggers accuse them of doing.
Teabaggers? Really? Five years beyond and you're still using a tired, childish trope in a recipe for weaksauce. That's sad...
Hey as long as they referred to themselves as that, I can refer to them as that. Thanks for showing your side though!
And it is the PPP research, identified in the article. Remember this isn't bias but trust.
Edit: Here Oldsaw I will your Koch Funded delusion of a party something fun to kid about at your next party.
Louisiana Democrats used to have a Rooster as the party symbol before we adopted the Donkey. So before we were a bunch of asses we were a bunch of cocks.
Hi Flight Service,
I’m confident you know better but more important is the epic hypocrisy the slur represents…individuals from the very same party that self-proclaim to be the champions of tolerance seek to belittle others by accusing them of belonging to a group that’s in need of tolerance….would you just ponder that for a moment.

Yes, but it is not a slur when they decided to call themselves that to be identified as that (around Tax Day after Obama's first election.) Just because someone clued them in on the joke doesn't mean it still isn't funny.
This isn't about tolerance, or intolerance, in anyway. This isn't something you can't help. This is a political affiliation that was chosen.
Sorry, I disagree on the base premise of the thought process you are trying to convey.
July 2013 was not a magic line in the sand, it's always gone on. Nothing new to see here.
They all lie, including the government, NPR, Fox, MSNBC, etc. They all try to color our perceptions and inflame the proletariat to jack up ratings so they can sell us more luxury E36 M3 we don't need.
It's all BS no matter who it comes from. I finally quit taking it all so seriously and just let it go; I have much bigger fish to fry that are much closer to me. That's where I channel my energy and time.
Since then I find that I am happier and more content. That's a good thing.

I dunno, that's why I like Public Broadcasting. It's one of the few forms of media that isn't constantly trying to sell me something, unless that something is donating to Public Broadcasting.

I am just messing with Oldsaw. Given he lives around Stone Mountain, assumptions about him are more like educated guesses based on data.
Like he is old and will vote for someone who thinks he should not have healthcare and work till he is 70.
I'm good with that.
I do live near Stone Mountain but any assumptions about my political affiliation only emphasize the "ass" portion for those making said assumptions. Age is a relative term and "oldsaw" also denotes "wisdom" - something lacking in pigeonholed, ideological, party hacks.
Considering the quality of current political candidates, in close elections I vote for those who will do the least damage. Otherwise I'm more likely to go for the person with an "L" beside their name; no guarantees on that, though.
Everyone should have healthcare just not the BS version forced upon us four years ago. Single-payer sounds like a good idea but not a single proponent has ever honestly outlined the costs, how it would interface with the current system nor admitted to its' inherent problems.
As for someone working until the age of 70, why care if it is a choice? If it is by necessity are you going to reach into your own pocket and help or extort it from someone else?
If you want to go on playing a political, tit-for-tat version of "The Other Side Sucks", knock yourself out. I have plenty of tat and you can't muster enough oldsaw-approved tit.
I have standards and so far you're coming up short.

Hi Flight Service,
I can see the humor in it too and I’m not personally offended and even if I was, I’d fully support your right to say whatever you think in the interest of free speech.
You’re still a big fat hypocrite that’s playing dumb to avoid owning your words but I’m OK with that.
Honestly, have a great day buddy

what does common core have to do with this? As pointed out NCLB has been the rule of the land for some time.
NCLB started after my time, only the latter of the generation will be burdened by that.
In other news, I only get my news from this guy.
