Air cooled V-twin powered Samurai.
I wonder if using a rubber guibo to connect the engine to the trans would have worked better than the always breaking U joints?
Probably putting some degree of misalignment/angle into that u-joint would probably help as well -- it looks like it is a straight shot from the output of the motor to the input of the trans.
Looks wild. I'd like some vids. I'd also think the cooling system should blow from the front, that way it can be used while crawling down a trail and it won't be fighting the air coming in from the grill.
To me it looks like he's using the original blower motor for the heating system to create his engine cooling system.
Well, the guy used available resources to fix a problem. I commend that. Now he has to buy two less of everything. Two less spark plugs, two less spark plug wires..
The guy builds airplanes. He turned his input shaft on his own lathe. Obviously a highly skilled fabricator , with all the toys , and the time and money to do any damn thing he wants to. Meticulous. We all need friends like this.
I want videos too. I wonder how it sounds.. V twins are a bit obnoxious when bolted to harleys, it must be quite a head turner in a sammy

+1 cooling is gonna be a major issue, especially when offroading...cool swap though. It'll really feel like a quad now!
