So, it all started last weekend with my failed soft top replacement. I called around, and only one place in a 30 miles radius does soft top replacements, but couldn't get me in tell next month! So I let things settle for two days and was doing to pick it back up on Wednesday. It rained Wednesday. Thursday it rained. Thursday night I became violently ill with what was probably food poisoning. Ached and could barely move Friday. Saturday my wife got sick, so I spent all day nursing her back to health. Now it's Sunday and I don't feel like working on it today.

Also, my tax return is $8000 smaller than expected. That first time home buyers credit? You don't get it if you buy from a close relative (we bought the house from her parents). So now I a broken car that I was planning on paying off with that tax return.

And my house is a wreck because of all the bullE36 M3 we have from storage!!!!!!!!

Life sucks.

I got what was either food poisoning or a bad hangover yesterday, I'm not sure which.

You win.

Most clubs will help install a top for a donation to their club, and you'll meet some cool people. Just an idea.

Yep-Help threads here, there, and everywhere. Even if you have to pay them with more than beer you will meet cool people with similar interests. Can't loose.

I fully understand the rant. Just gotta ask, tho..

Would you rather have this E36 BMW, or another summer carrying weapons through the desert?

That being said, that whole thing about not getting the tax credit just because you bought the house from a relative is bull E36 M3.

Some may require more beer than others!

Aw using the desert man, no fair

I think the whole tax credit thing is bullE36 M3 too, but its right there in black white (the nice lady showed me). I'm really pissed at my bank for not mentioning it, because my wife mentioned that she was buying from her father just about every other sentence.

I'll have to try and find a local owners club. I'm not afraid to pay in food, beverages, or even shudder money for good help.

Well, you may need to be careful if you're looking for GOOD help... There's a lot of people like me in those groups... Can't guarantee it'll be good help, but normally we can guarantee it'll be a good time! :)

ROFL! Sounds like my old BMWCCA Chapter. Great guys, but half of `em thought "helping" meant standing around having a beer while two of us worked.

You'll need to log in to post.
