I think I might be impressed. I will also be curious about the redneck reaction.

I'm sure we'll hear how they're sikh of him.
He looks like one tough "dude" (the term definitely meant with respect). You probably wouldn't want to mess with that guy either on or off the battlefield. Looks like he'd kick azz now and take names later.
We have quite the warm and fuzzy cabinet. Should be a fun honeymoon. But Sajjan may have been one of the better choices.
From what I've seen your new PM has the attitude of "I'm about to run the E36 M3 out of this country whether you like it or not"

Any redneck who has a problem with this guy isn't even smart enough to be islamophobic properly

For the record, Sikhism is an independent religion unrelated to Islam.
In reply to Appleseed:
I agree. I worked with one. He was a brilliant mechanical engineer and a very cool guy. Great array of stylish turbans too! And he was proud of them.

The joke that you missed was in the emoticon.
I thought Sikh's were pacifist. Guess not.
In reply to PHeller:
Uh, no, somebody mistook Sikhism for Islam. I was just trying to set the record straight.
"Realization of Truth is higher than all else. Higher still is truthful living". Sikh teaching emphasizes the principle of equality of all humans and rejects discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, and gender. Sikh principles encourage living life as a householder."
gah what he was saying that was most rednecks wouldn't know the difference between a Sikh and a Muslim, so they wouldn't be doing islamophobia right.
Or were you being sarcastic?
Sarcastic? Absolutely not. He said nothing about Sikhism in his post. But you said that's what he meant to say. I don't think that would be apparent to everyone. I took the post in question literally. I don't know the person, so I can't interpret the message he might have been conveying. You apparently know him and know his thinking.
I'm not being "sarcastic" when I say that. This thread is a typical Suddard-house-party guest conversation on our part. But I think I'll step away to talk to someone else. Have a nice evening.
In reply to Gary:
Umm... I'm 99.9% sure Gameboy was implying the average redneck doesn't know a Sikh from a Muslim. Which was pretty obvious to me. Not sure what you read...
