Very similar to my education (except it was an Uncle) I was 5 the first time I fired a gun and was told from then on if I saw one anywhere "It was Loaded" to treat it as such and do not touch with out them (parents, Uncle, ect.) There is an excellent and not pro gun education program called Eddie the Eagle offered by the NRA that should (in my opinion) be school cariculum. Very simple
If you see a gun: STOP! Don't Touch. Leave the Area. Tell an Adult.
I personally plan to follow closer to my own upbringing and educate why not to touch the gun with proper live fire instruction as well as this simple set of rules.
