Yeah, so I was on my way back from getting my suspension aligned (again) and I decided to stop by a local Dunkin' Doughnuts. I placed my order and a van full of none other than NY City's finest had just rolled in and gotten in line behind me.
I walked to the other side of the D.D. and snapped this photo so I would always remember it. I was just able to contain my giggling. Of course, they have every right to enjoy doughnuts: name one person who doesn't.
I blurred out their faces out of respect, of course.
Just be glad it wasn't Wally you took a picture of. He's in no mood for camera phones lately.

That's awesome - good pic
When I worked in radio, our stupid was right across the street from a Dunkin Donuts.. safest place in Atlantic City, there were always at least 2 cop cars or bikes in the parking lot at all times
haha, i gotta laugh at that. Every day we got dozens of doughnuts in our office... Most of the time theyre delivered to us by the people that work at the shoppettes on base. It pretty much goes like this: "oh these doughnuts are getting close to their expiration date. I know! The cops will eat them!"
Oh well, i dont mind the stereotype. it means free doughnuts and coffee whenever i want!

many years ago , my first time driving in Miami, I was with my brother in law, and we were looking for somewhere to eat breakfast. we got a bit lost and traffic was pretty bad. At a stop light my brother in law notices theres a Dade pd cruiser next to us on his side, and i can see the light bulb go off ... I say, no... no...no... dont do it... but he rolls down his window, and says (in heavy NY accent) HEY! where the berkeley is the nearest doughnuts?
the officer looks at him, im thinking "crap, here come the tickets" (we were in my hot rodded cutlass, not at all low profile) and the cop says " two block up, make a left, theres a dunkin on the right, but park on the side street and walk up, its easier and theres always a spot open to park..."
then my brother in law asks him if he wants anything.. "im buying" and the officer starts cracking up...
five minutes later we had breakfast, the guy had a set thats for sure...
(looks furtively around, sure that after this he's going to be under surveillance)
Did you hear about the guy who was sleeping in his car behind the donut shop?
He was arrested for impersonating a police officer.
I know for a fact that Charleston SC cops are forbidden9atleast the squad my buddy is in) from going to a Dunkin in uniform so they don't perpetuate the stereotype....
I got out of the Victorian Police in 95 and still crave the doughnut indulence
How to mess with a cop when you have donuts in your car:

Your stupid was accross the street?
Joey
Better than it being on the same side of the street, i guess.
I used to work at a Tim Horton's a while back, gravyard shift. Pretty much every night, there'd be some sort of uniform in there.
RCMP
Military Police
Security
Ambulance
etc.
Very few actually ate the donughts.

Uh, what?
Methinks that while working at a 7-11, he comped the cops free doughnuts....and in return the cops let him slide when he was pulled over....and when he related the stories to a female friend, she would get pissed off because he didn't receive any tickets.
I have Family that work in the convenience store industry...I can speak the language.
