Coming home?
Yeah I can't believe it even though right now in an airplane, I have faster interwebs then on the ground in Afghanistan lol.
Ask the stewardess if she speaks jive?
Look at the "saftey card"
See the person leaning forward and praying or "making peace with their maker?" Note the other person in the "kiss your ass goodbye position?"
They tell you that the bag attached to the mask "may not inflate." What they do not tell you is that it is just there to muffle the screams. It is otherwise not easy for pilot to hear the radio with hundereds of people screeming behind him.
lol, I actually was going to add this topics first post to the airplane thread, but I felt special, my wife will park in the white zone to pick me up
My new favorite thing to do on a plane requires getting a window seat. From there, pull out a Garmin in-car nav machine. Hold it to the window and it will faintly get signal. With some zooming in and out, you can see exactly where you are. See a river, zoom in and find the name.
Added bonus: On my Garmin, when you go to the trip info page, my maximum speed is 676 mph (recorded in Iowa, before entering IL on a trip from LA to Cleveland.)
I did -This- in a plane a while back.
First time for me too!
Glad you get some time to come home. If you make it down this way, let me know and I'll let you take the Fiero for a spin. You JUST missed the first spin of the wheels with the car on jackstands last time you were down here, it only seems appropriate that you witness the wheels spinning with the car on the ground!
I got to try out the free wi-fi on a Delta plane the other day...it was interesting, but nothing I'd pay for if they started charging, especially how slow it was (about 5% the speed of my home connection).
Bryce
Glad youre coming home. Will you be here for new years as well? Hope you get to spend your holidays stateside.
