People love nostalgia- there is/was a Nostalgic magazine showing old stuff and the good old days.

Whatcha got car related?  My brother bought a rebuilt Muncie 4-speed rock crusher transmission for his 1964 Impala for $250 back in the late 80's.

Of course, that was at least a week's pay before taxes back then.

I have the repair book for my first car, a 1954 Oldsmobile Super 88. Originally from the Milwaukee public library . I saved a main bearing from the 22R in the 4Runner. It is hammered and scored from being spun. I still marvel at the destruction.

Does "still have my first car" count?

I still have my best (not first) pedal car. A 1957 Giordani. Also still have and use the trailer that was under Pop's Taraschi when he bought it in 1969.

I'd have to look for it but I have the receipt for the used 1932 Ford my dad bought in about 1936.  I don't remember the dollar amount but it's hilariously low by today's standards, of course it was just a crappy old car at the time.
