Why assume others were watching? Because it was a public event and it was reported in the news. Do you think the kid was any less traumatized by others watching or "watching". His dad's a scoff-law and he doesn't give a crap about his son's welfare.
He dosen't care about his son's welfare? I would argue that committing an act of civil disobendience with your child is better than ignoring them and molding them into future slugs. He's spending time with his boy. that's a good deal. But i'm sure you'd rather send your kid inside to watch the teletubbies, WATCH OUT the purple one is gay.

The leather goggles are still out there. My brother saw some last Christmas and was going to get some for him, me and my younger brother but at the time thought that $40 each was a little much for a joke gift. He said that the next day he regretted not getting them but couldn't make it back to the store to get them. When he finally made it back a couple weeks later they were gone. I'm hoping I can find them this year.
I know I can find leather goggles of varying quality on eBay. Just don't know if the Miata is a proper car to wear goggles and a plaid cap.

the child could have been horribly sunburned. I hope the father is found guilty of child endangerment.

Dear Mr. Suddard,
Thank you for the excellent magazine and some great online articles for the times between the paper issues. The forums on the website however are not my favorite. I would like to recommend they be more closely monitored, if not moderated.
They seem to have attracted an unusually high ratio of very passionate, articulate, yet seriously misguided readers.
To wit, a forum user posted an article about a nude bicycle rally where a man was arrested for, as was reported, exposing his underaged son to the public and other rally riders. This even after being confronted by police at the rally and agreeing, again as reported, that the child would be minimally clothed. Why this article was posted escapes me yet seems to have been done in an effort to incite conflict among other forum users.
Most rationale people, even those whom have no qualm with nudists or cyclists, would agree the actions of the subject in the article were unlawful if not abusive of the child.
Instead, a number of your forum users have quite vehemently defended these actions as civil disobedience or some other respectable form of protest. They've failed to grasp the simple truth that it is a parent's responsibility to teach children to obey the law... to work within the system to change laws that are not right.
Personally, I found the article to be a disgusting example of poor judgment. Posting it here to ruffle others feathers suggests a desire for attention. Defending the parent for exposing his own child to others is cardinally mad. Cursing one another for their opinion of the matter is plainly rude. What of this is grassroots?
Your magazines have earned a great reputation for their high content:fluff ratio the website and forums should support. I strongly recommend establishing better boundaries for the use of the forums. Please do not be afraid to restrict or even disallow the use of the forums by those whom either cannot or will not behave themselves. A right to an opinion does not equal permission to pollute your forums with it.
This is the off topic section, where odd pieces of news are often discussed, and as you have seen, with great entusiasm at times. I posted it here because i thought others would find it as odd adn humorous as I did. We also have a number of people here who enjoy debating and argueing over anything from politics to how to best scramble and egg. They aren't bad people, but some of the finest Devil's advocates I've seen outside of a courthouse. It is best to read things here as humor and not to be taken personally. Please read through some of the other threads, I'm sure this is not the most offensive one.
I will admit to being a sad lonely attention whore and nude bicyclist who posts things here so my make believe frinds will think I'm funny, but I keep my nude bicycling contained to the local track so an unsuspecting public doesn't have to ssee it

Funny how you complained about the content but couldn't help post your own feelings on the matter. Welcome to circus.

It would at the very least, have to be a Miata in BRG.

Of COURSE he posted it for attention! Thats why Wally posts stuff! We all wait for the next post from Wally, and hope that its just about some loser butt ass naked on a bike, and not about some poor bastard getting his head chopped off on a bus. Wally always posts stuff that is currently going on in the news. Its fun. And everyone here likes to dabate. I, for one, am not good at it, but alot of people are great at it, in this online community. We are pretty good at self policing. Most of the stuff on here, I wouldnt worry about anyone over the age of 15 reading. The content of this forum is what keeps us coming back, and they would probably lose many forum readers if they started to censor the forum.

Where are these nude cycling tracks? Are they less abrasive than regular ones? Based on this thread I am considering a Fedora, leather goggles and a nice scarf for my otherwise nude cycling.

Skip the scarf. If it gets caught in the spokes you'll strangle yourself pretty quickly. Maybe an ascot?

I considered the Ascot initially but when nude what do you pin the bottom to? I'm not into the whole piercing thing and a shirt of some kind breaks the prime directive. Maybe some 2 sided tape.

What are you talking about?!? EVERYONE knows that you need to butter the pan, crack all of the eggs into a bowl where you blend them with some half/half or cream using a wire whisk.
Geez...

Damn, I'd have to repaint mine then since it's white. Would BRG racing stripes and a big meatball number circle on the side be sufficient?

No way. Milk and egg in the pan, scramble with spatula as they cook. No butter.

You fools! You know nothing about eggs. Eggs, chives, 1/2-n-1/2, smoked jalapenos, and shredded cheddar go in the bowl with optional ham. Bacon grease goes in the in the pan. The whole mess is rolled up in a sun dried tomato wrap with sour creme, shredded lettuce and salsa.
Sheesh, Amateurs.

Yeah, I would say thats probably the end-all when it comes to eggs.
Joey
Although an excellent recipe, that doesn't qualify as a scrambled egg anymore. That is a recipe for a breakfast burrito and to call it a recipe for scrambled eggs is an affront to the purity of scrambled eggs. They are just eggs, that have been scrambled. I think you're right about the bacon grease though.
Oh, and I'll take two.

I see your point regarding the purity of the egg and dismiss it entirely based on no reason whatsoever except that to agree would end any possible argument over the details.
I forgot to add that if making this recipe in the nude before cycling, be careful with the bacon grease spatter as hootus damage can occur.
Does wearing an apron while cooking splattery foods go against the core of nudism? Aprons aren't really clothing. They're just worn to protect your clothing. So presumably you can still be considered naked if you're wearing an apron.

I would have to agree.. Otherwise, bacon grease splatter would hurt....
I do most of my cooking in the shower. Plebeians.
