If there was a lamp made of cedar, would moths still be attracted to it?
Will I have enough savings to retire while I'm still healthy enough to enjoy retirement?
sorry, didn't follow the clever/funny example.

They used to build closets with cedar panels to help keep moths away from eating the clothes. Moths are famously attracted to light.
Marty McFly's perfect, fixed, family at the end of Back to the Future? He doesn't know them. All the family vacations, Christmases, all of it, those memories aren't his own. He wasn't around for them. It was a different Marty.
Who thought Eric Stoltz (mask) was going to make a good Marty before they recast with Michael J Fox?

Depends on the era but the egyptians in ~2000BC understood that they would shock you and named them such. Even Pliney the Elder wrote about it.

No, that's just Green Bay.
I always heard the reason Texas didn't fall into the Gulf was because Oklahoma sucked. So, does that mean Oklahoma and Green Bay are what's keeping the world from flying off into space?
I wonder if zzzzzzzzzzzz.
98% of the time I'm asleep about 30 seconds after my head hits the pillow.
The other 2% are business decisions that I have been pondering throughout the day or need to be dealt with in the AM. Then it takes me about 5 minutes to rack out.
It seriously pisses my wife off. She's a worrier and frequently can't get to sleep for hours.

Nope. South America only, to my knowledge. And electric eels aren't actually eels - of which, there may be some in Green Bay, specifically the American Eel. That is unlikely, but possible - the American Eel is native to Lake Ontario, and supposedly has gotten into the rest of the Great Lakes, but with very small numbers.
There are significant populations of lamprey's in Lake Michigan; I caught a walleye with a "lamprey eel" hanging off of it last year. Chopped that sucker in half. Freaky thing. There are also bowfin, which always reminded me of eels.

So I've been throwing all these used car batteries into Green Bay to charge nothing.
We have American eels in this part of the world unfortunately not in high of numbers as they go up the rivers to spawn and too many of them have been dammed. Which is a shame as American eels are absolute candy for striped bass.

The things that go through my head at night....
Am I the only one that finds it amusing that the word "verb" is a noun?
Or that "palindrome" isn't a palindrome?
Or that an antonym of "synonym" is "antonym", but the reverse is not true?
And why, every time I think about electric vehicles, this runs through my mind:
"It went "Zip!" when it moved.
and "Bop" when it stopped.
And "Whirrrr!" when it stood still."
Is there a secret Zip to Zap ratio with electric cars?
Why is there air?
What type of Swallow was it? Are there more types? Is Swallow fraternization a problem?
Were there Knights that said something else?
Did they ever cut down the tree with a Herring? Is there a better cutting Fish?
Where can I get a shrubbery. . ..
Ya my mind is a weird place. But the voices are lots of fun. ..
Keeps me awake: Way to serious for this thread?
Wakes me up in the middle of the night? The following: What is my locker combination? Why can't I remember it? I have to be in a class I've never taken for the final exam in 3 minutes. Wait a minute, I'm almost 50 and haven't had a locker in 30 years . . . Boom, awake.
