I notice on Tic Toc people come up with ideas and perform as s DJ or cook or whatever.  Music seems to be popular.

This lady plays 80's music and rocks out with you - people give her roses and she acts all cute and sweet and thankful.  I notice 200-500 people might have joined at any point.

How much they making?  I'm going to convince my wife to go a southern cook bit.

I'm kind of partial to the jump rope girl on the FB reels (Lauren Jumps maybe?). I was relieved to learn that she is in her 30s, so I feel like less of a creep.

"How much does TikTok pay per view? Top creators have revealed that TikTok pays between $0.02 and $0.04 per 1,000 views through the Creator Fund program. If you do the math, that's $20 to $40 for a million views."

"Once the video starts playing, the platform will begin tracking views. This feature makes earning money on TikTok much easier. To make money using the Creator Fund, you must have at least ten thousand followers and received a minimum of 100,000 views in the last 30 days."

Just google "Monetizing tiktok" and you'll get a ton of hits.

I have a buddy that made it big on YouTube and we've talked about social media pay before and it is nowhere near as much as people are led to believe.   I am not saying a living can't be made but it's a lot of work and also counting running a patron,  giveaways, tick tock, instagram, Facebook, etc.  Then there is the piracy part. There is a motorcycle clip that I can damn well bet you have all seen before but not from him and he was the one that filmed it.  It's been shared billions of times but his cut was like $14.  Facebook does absolutely nothing to prevent or police people ripping off other people's stuff so that's why so many things will link back to Facebook.  Long winded way of saying it's not really what anyone thinks and it's a ton of work to do it right.
