Can't you just pitch a tent under the truck?if you need heat you can run the motor every now and then.

Oh, wow. I love those old Spartans. But too big...

You'll never feel the trailer from that truck, however you will feel everything else!

North Georgia. It's in an RV Park near Lake Burton. It's not technically "for sale", but it's been unused for years. I'll inquire.

I was just discussing Lake Burton and Moccasin Creek state park with a coworker. Beautiful area.

We've got a pop-up that we love - it still feels a lot like tent camping but you get comfy beds and AC/heat, and enough room to be reasonably comfortable if it rains all day. Still a hike to the bathroom, but the state parks here have good facilities. I'm battling cracks in the top and will probably have to replace the camper in a couple years, most likely with another pop-up.

How much does one of those Spartans weigh? I love the thought of an old 23'-24' Airstream, but the layouts are just crap after having the king size bed in the pop-up.

I've found a vintage Cyco brand slide-in near Cleveland Ga I want to buy. I am currently going to marriage counseling once a week. Dr. thinks it will take 6 months to a year, so in 6 month to a year I will let you know if I get it.

This is fake rebadged as a Airstream, but it is a Cyco exactly like the one I am after.

Mounting on a utility body for extra storage? Genius!

That IS Genius, plus the utility body is a great way to get an HD truck for less coin around here. I've always thought a service truck would meake a great race hauler for those reasons. You can't put a fifth wheel on most of them but as long as you're running bumper pull...

Update on the lil camper.

Bearings are like new and repacked, wheel studs have been cleaned and anti-siezed, found a trailer plug that should fit your needs.

I tried to make it obvious to the regulars
