I just finished reading Midnight In Chernobyl and the things that went on were insane. As little as we regard health and safety in a lot of places, the Soviets took it to a completely different level.

Wtf? I can't imagine working in that area.
Unit 1 at Three Mile Island operated until September 2019, obviously less of the surrounding area was glowing though.
TIL Constellation/Microsoft are refurbishing Unit 1 to bring it back online to power their AI. It's crazy the resources being put into that right now.

Well technically at first my hand was inside the bag, then it was outside the bag. I can verify it was warm either way.

I don't want to see Bob on jalapenos. It did help that Bob's E36 M3 is about twice as big as a normal dog.
I get stuck in a rut, if I read a book and like it I read everything the author has written. Sad, but true. Tom Clancy, Leon Uris, you get it. I picked up a book by Stuart Woods (now deceased) and read another, and another, I'm on book #63 of a series. Point is, the main character always orders Dover Sole or some nice Steak, always with a side of Haricots Verts.
OK, I give up. What is it. Well, today I learned is it's just Green Beans!
Hericot Verts that I have been mispronouncing.

TIL another version of the Aldi/TJ's saga....I hear a lot of versions.

I saw the brother story in the paper when the first Lidl opened in Columbia, SC. It was Aldi & Lidl in that story.

The story I heard on the radio was that two brothers owned Aldi in Germany. They split into essentially Aldi north and Aldi south. One of them bought Trader Joe's and the other owns Aldi in the US.

Exactly right; I was falling asleep yesterday (flu still kicking my butt) and so couldn't type all that. Ha!
TIL that propane tanks for grills have an internal thread on the output also. It's reverse thread. That last part took me a few minutes to figure out.

TIL that 2 stroke power band is a real thing.
How many stitches?
Lolz. I was joking.
I now see the pics in the other thread. Hope you recover in time for the challenge.
