Today is the day

Well today is the day. As some of you may remember a couple weeks ago I posted that I had been asked to teach my Biology class. Well the day has finally come and I'll be teaching today. I have the entire class period to myself and I found out just about every professor in the department will be sitting in on the class today as well

X2000. Just remember to keep scanning the crowd and make eye contact with a few people. Focus on your material, and oh picture them naked. Or not. Depends on the audience.

A talent I wish I had; when I have to get up in front of people my head looks like a blood blister.

My Aunt had called last night to ask if I wanted to borrow her video camera to have someone record me teaching the class lol

Seriously, I hope it went well for you, a good teacher is worth their weight in gold, IMHO.

Note: I said a good teacher, not just any teacher.

Well I'm home things went fairly well I think. I was quite nervous at first but calmed down a bit after a few minutes.

I got a few laughs, people asked questions and seemed interested in the subject. I even had requests for live demonstrations next term. I had someone in the hall say it was an awesome presentation and one of my friends said it was good.

Only about half of the Bio department showed up but others asked for copies of the presentation so they could go over it.

Now to get to the 3 lab reports, an archaeology paper and studying for a chem test tomorrow. Ugh.

Biology, demonstrations after class, live demonstrations. Why do i picture Bevis and Butthead? "HEH HEH he said demonstration". Hey its biology and I have been drinking.

Yes the class presents many Bevis and Butthead moments...thankfully some of us are more mature then that...not me but some of us
