I've been watching some guys on youtube build one these trikes with what appears to be a harbor freight 420cc engine, microsquirt, and a turbo.
Built something like that way back in 1970 when I lived in Puerto Rico: Grafted a Schwinn bicycle (cool one with a drum brake in the front wheel) on to a go-cart chassis. Both items dragged home from garbage picking
Drove that thing all over our hood. I rode on the bike seat and operated the brake while my brother operated the throttle (via a string) from the go-cart seat.
We had to take it apart everytime before Mom got home cause she would have killed us if she ever saw us driving this contraption. She had no idea that a ten and eleven year old could make the scrap pile into a death machine while she was at work.
It is not my fault that I survived my childhood.
