5 buckaroos for some brand new pre-Irwin outsourcing Vise Grips. Found them in a seedy pawn shop in Flint (as opposed to the fancy ones in Saginasty)

A good price for a new Vise-Grip.
I always look for the old ones at swap meets; I have probably 15 or 20 of the pre Irwin models, made by Peterson in DeWitt, Nebraska.
Nice. Find I can't wait for the estate sales and yard sales to start around here to buy stuff I don't really need haha
I used to car pool to work with a guy that had clapped out beater of an early '90s SSEI Bonneville. We both had a habit of falling to sleep when the other was driving. The recline handle on his passenger seat was missing, so I donated one of my vice grips to the cause, so I could recline the seat and catch some extra Zs on the way to work.
The cheap knock-offs (Harbor Freight) have been junk in my experience, especially the needle nose, they always twist. The real deal, are worth finding and holding on to.
