I've been eating my breakfast cereal with soymilk instead of cow's milk for years now. Shocking, I know!

I actually prefer the unflavored light plain product. It's milky without detracting from the flavor of the cereal. If I run out of soymilk and have to eat cereal with cow's milk, I'm like "Ewwwww!"

I love the chocolate Silk soymilk(juice), I just don't like spending that much on it. Full disclosure: I'm not trying to reduce my meat intake, per se, I just haven't eaten it in like five years. The art of frying tofu just came to me recently so I'm looking for other ways to prepare it.

Around Christmas, I started going back to the gym with a vengeance. Shed 15 pounds and gained lots of muscle. I really like soy milk too, but too much of it gives me gas. But soy iso protein powder in the blender with frozen berries, a banana, ice and water is fantastic, easily digestible and I've got lots of energy.

I'm vegetarian, and I can't stand the stuff. I've tried. I've had it actually in the Orient where they should know how to prepare it. Just can't do it.

As a lifelong vegetarian, I have a few go-to tofu recipes. My favorite the tofu sandwich. It's pretty simple. Take a slice of extra-firm tofu (patted dry with a paper towel) and fry it in olive oil and soy sauce until crispy. Slap it on a toasted bun and dress it like a typical burger. Unnghhh.

Be aware that soy milk contains tons of natural estrogen... I prefer almond milk on my cereal, which helps absorb cholesterol.

That's the problem with any soy product and the main reason I do my best to not eat them too often. I've yet to try almond milk however.

No kidding. Trying to pretend vegetables are meat never seems to end well. The closest thing I've seen to a vegetarian dish that might be able to fill a meat craving is eggplant Parmesan, and that's not very close to meat at all.

My favorite recipe: Cut up some extra firm tofu, fry in peanut oil with cabbage and onions. Add some sesame oil and pozu sauce.

I like tofu as a filler for hot and sour soup, but anything else, not so much.

But, hey, I like Kung Pao Chicken w/o the nuts and will only eat egg-rolls by using three or four packs of hot mustard - each; veggie only, please.

Well I was all gung-ho to give it another try until I read this. My moobs don't need any more help.

Terrified, I did a quick google and read that the soy estrogen in soymilk does NOT have a feminizing effect on men. So there!

Ditto. Although I go the sugar route and use chocolate soymilk (Silk is awesome)

Not a vegetarian, just health conscious (and my wife is a Weight Watcher who has lost 80+ lbs).

Just made a vegetarian chili (that is basically my carnivore chili substituted with veggie protein crumbles and tempeh [as well as a few squares of dark chocolate {no joke--it works}] No tofu, though.

I consider myself somewhat of a foodie and I love to cook. I've yet to come up with a tofu centric recipe that was anything better than "okay" and nothing that my health-conscious, bordering on vegetarian wife has liked yet...

Have you tried using the silken tofu in lieu of eggs in a tasty breakfast scramble?

I will bet that if I fry it in bacon grease alongside the eggs and pancakes it's the best tofu can be.
