I mentioned back in July the toilet tank in our 2nd bath cracked. We dried everything out, slathered it in Flex Seal, and it's been holding ever since. Cut to this morning, the toilet tank in the master cracked. It was 2am, so threw down some towers, flushed the toilet, and turned off the water. When I left for work I asked my girlfriend to pick up the towels, dry out the tank as much as she could, and leave the lid off to keep air drying............with the intention of doing the same thing.
While doing so, she accidentally bumped the lid on to the floor, and it shattered.
It's literally the cheapest Glacier Bay toilet they sell and Home Depot doesn't stock replacement parts.
Suggestions on what to replace it with? I'm likely just going to go ahead and replace both over the weekend and be done with it.
I've purchased 3 in the past 2 years.
The glacier Bay I bought a month ago is terrible. The hardware is trash, so you can't actually tighten anything. The water level in the bowl is too low as well.
The Kohler was purchased around a year ago. Rather than a flap inside the tank like everyone else, it has this stupid plastic sealing thing that goes up and down. I've had to clean the surface a few times when it starts leaking. I've never had to do that with any other toilet. Why change something that works?
The delta is the oldest, and zero issues. So that's my recommendation.

toto washlet or die.
Be hard to flush what it cleans with no tank on the toilet. :)

This has me utterly confused.
In any case, I have American Standard as being the best in my head. No clue if that is anywhere close to reality, but that is where I'd start.

Yeah, a quick search for "toto washlet" turned up the bidet seats. But yeah, $3400 is just a HAIR over what I was thinking. ![smiley smiley](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)

But how much would you save in toilet paper each year?

I try to maintain a high fiber diet to avoid the ol' mud butt. ![laugh laugh](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.png)

I don't think a bidet will help you the day after trying to figure out the proper "tune" for E85!
I got a Toto one-piece for around $350? Not sure. Can find out.
Doesn't matter. Two-piece Toto's can crack the sub- $200 barrier.
Worth every penny. It's amazing what it will flush.

Fiber man... It's underated.
Eat enough fiber and you can do without toilet paper.
