Took the little guy (3 yrs old) to the Auto Show (part of Mom's Valentines Day present, Sunday with a house to herself) and boy did we have fun. He loved sitting in cars and pushing buttons and telling me all about them. "That's one is special Dad, it's up on a thing."

(he did NOT like that Hamster lady.) As a dad with kids, we of course checked out all of the Minivans (very impressive Kia) station wagons (Ok, the Volvo) and 3-row SUV's. I was impressed by the new euro-style vans from Ford and others, lots of space! The Mazda 3, with a stick and the big engine, is an impressive option, and the VW GTI was amazing. I think I see something small being in the fleet for a while, even if I do add a Minivan.

The Hamster lady is a little scary actually. It looks like a space fantasy gone wrong. :)

The little guy looks like he enjoyed it.

It'll take years to reteach him to not accept candy and expect a playground in the back of full sized panel vans now.

I'm pretty sure I feel the exact same about the hamster woman.
