I have never been concerned about getting a load moving with my truck, no matter how overloaded.
I worry about getting it stopped.
Same principal my dad beat into my head as a teen: not running is an inconvenience. Not stopping will kill you.

It takes a LOT more effort than that (plus, it is technically illegal to wash out without a proper wash out area).
