A dope trailer is no place for a kitty
Due to this recommendation I have watched a number of episodes.
They are funny but disturbing as well on some levels.
There certainly are too many people like this in N. America, the neighborhood just changes. The whole thing could just as easily be set in urban US. Just as well, the characters could be shown as far less lovable.
I do wonder... There is much more portrayal of handguns than Michael Moore would lead me to believe there are carried in Canada.
There is much more smoking than I too would believe considering the crazy high prices on Canadian smokes.
How much are pack of cigarettes in Canada.
It is hilarious that the whole thing is shot in the warm months only. Are there any winter episodes? Or, at least an episode where Randy would need to wear a shirt?
I grew up with some characters like this and I am glad I got away from them.
There's a news website in Toronto (Metro News) that is holding a contest to send one of its viewers into space on one of those space tourism outfits. The guy who plays Bubbles heard about this and entered, asking people on his facebook page to vote for him. The first day he was entered he quickly took the lead by a huge margin. Here's the video he shot asking people to vote for him (since it's Bubbles, there's swearing so keep it down if you're at work):
After the first day Metro News deleted his entry from the contest. This led to a much more expletive laced video that he posted on his facebook page about how the contest is f'ing BS. Metro News reinstated his entry and he's currently leading by a healthy margin.
You can vote for him here:
He's actually planning on doing a whole documentary about the training and flight and everything involved so he's taking it seriously, he's just using his character to open the door.
Cruising through CL and I find this perfect Mr Layhe tribute car. Here is the preview picture.

It is not until I open the listing that the irony hits me. This is not just any tribute car....
