Travel advise needed Myrtle Beach July 6 - 9 What to do besides beach

Planning a long weekend and looking for options.  Open to pretty much anything.  Food, entertainment, museums etc.

Ripleys aquarium is cool. And miniatre golf is huge.

Fishing charter, be it in/near shore or headboat.

we're going to be there for a week 2 weeks later with the inlaws and nephews

try not to have an aneurysm from the traffic and stupid drivers

Take golf clubs and stay on a course.

I hate MB.   

I live about an hour up the coast from there and do not go there during the summer as a general rule. Too crowded. 

After visiting there a couple of times in the summer.  Don't go.

My daughter lives in a small suburb, Socostee says she rarely goes outside when the sun is up during the summer.
